As Founder and Chair, I act intuitively as a non-profit Founder working hard to meet technological needs. I have an addiction to growth and an eye for visual images that perfectly capture what I want. This led to completing five computer labs and proceeding with our sixth.
With more than a decade of philanthropy experience and managing financial actions for various healthcare companies since 1994, Emmy's duties include financial planning and leading initiatives to drive operational goals that translate into reliable financial projections. Since the beginning, Emmy has played a significant role in supporting OHFKO with fundraising and marketing.
Our first project was to inspire the youth at Bless a Child Foundation, Makerere Kikoni, Kampala, Uganda, to awaken the children's technological skills.
We preceeded our endeavors by providing school supplies to the Kamonyi community schools, in Rwanda. This community comprises eight schools and 1400 students.
We continued empowering the youth at Kaleke Kasome Children services, Mpigi, Uganda, by creating a computer lab to improve the youth's technological skills.
At Kitende Modern School, Entebbe, Uganda, we empowered the youth by establishing a computer lab for the students.
2022 was a humbling year for my team and I. We were blessed to work with Salama School of the Blind, Mukono, Uganda to create a computer lab including JAWS software required for accessibility purposes.
The AMAZING OHFKO team represented the organization by delivering computer devices to the Commune High School - Kitende administration. Thank you, OHFKO's Team, for your tenacity as we keep serving and empowering the youth in technology!
